National Career Skills Competition 2016 Awards Ceremony: Guidance Counsellor Caroline Duffy – DDLETB Adult Education Service (Tallaght), Alison Hodgson- HR Director McDonalds Ireland, Breda Naughton -Dept. Education & Skills, Dean Kavanagh Adult Learner 1st Place Winner

The Adult Education Service is delighted to announce that AES student Dean Kavanagh, enrolled on a VTOS programme -Business & IT Skills QQI Level 5 – in DDLETB Adult Education Service (Tallaght), has been awarded 1st place in the Adult Learner /Further Education category of the national Careers Portal Competition which involved a project based on his work experience project.

The competition was a welcomed positive opportunity for adult students undertaking work placements, who often find this experience challenging.  Dean was awarded with a MacBook Air and an Engraved Clock. This is a fantastic achievement!  

He attended the Annual Awards Ceremony which took place in the Department of Education and Skills, Dublin on Tuesday 10th May 2016 to receive his award.
